The linear displacement sensor works on the same principle as a sliding rheostat. It is used as a voltage divider. The displacement sensor presents the actual position of the measured position with a relative output voltage.
The alignment of the linear displacement sensor needs to be good, but the parallelism allows for ± error and the angle allows for an error of ±12°. However, if the parallelism error and the angle error are both too large, there will be a case where the digital jitter is displayed. Then, when such a situation occurs, the parallelism and angle must be adjusted. If the electronic scale of the linear displacement sensor is in the process of working, the display data at a certain point is beating regularly, or when the data is not displayed. In this case, it is necessary to check whether the insulation of the connecting wire is broken or not, and it is short-circuited to the ground due to regular contact with the outer casing of the machine.
